Fanlistings are websites that bring together people who are fan of something specific, in this case the political ideologies of Socialism & Communism.

Communism and Socialism are movements that seek similar ends, and differ mainly in the means of achieving those ends. Their principles are as laudable as any movement that longs for a better living for everyone: the fact that some rulers had spoiled the original ideals of socialism and/or communism, doesn't mean that those who support these ideals are 'evil' or something.
These movements aim to overthrow the capitalist order and to establish a classless society in which all goods will be socially owned. The theories of the movement come from Karl Marx, as modified by Vladimir Lenin, leader of the successful Communist revolution in Russia.
Communism should be distinguished from socialism, which seeks similiar ends but by evolution rather than revolution.
